This is my ninth year as a teacher, and my eighth year in first grade! I
live and teach in Milwaukee, Wisconsin although I am originally from the great
state of Iowa (Go Hawks!). I graduated from the University of Iowa back
in 2007 and then finished my Master's in Education in May 2014.
I have an amazing husband, Marc, a golden retriever named Riley and a black cat called Kinnick. We also have a rambunctious little guy, Madden, who definitely keeps us on our toes. We absolutely love him to pieces!

When
I'm not teaching I love to read, cook, run and go to Crossfit. My husband and I
enjoy training together and participating in triathlons!
We are also constantly renovating whatever property we currently live in
and that keeps us busy beyond belief!
